On Wednesday, we showed you some of the best user photos from “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day,” which became a conservative-fueled success.
On Friday came the LGBT community’s response to that — National Same Sex Kiss Day, in which thousands of LGBT supporters are expected to flock to the chicken chain’s restaurants.
Chick-fil-A president and COO Dan Cathy’s anti-gay marriage stance has quickly become political fodder for both sides of the issue.
Two days ago, conservatives helped make “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day” a success by attending in droves. Politicians from former Gov. Mike Huckabee, who led the call for the day with a Facebook event page, to former presidential candidate Rick Santorum, offered support and called on supporters to visit a restaurant.
Today, users are already uploading photos of the same-sex “Kiss In” day at Chick-fil-A, which are being posted on the group’s Facebook page and on Instagram.
